Phase 1 – Internal vent works are in progress with works completed to 14 properties to date. Again, as previously requested, we would appreciate residents co-operation is assisting us in gaining access to their property to undertake the internal works required to allow us to fit the metal vents externally.
Phase 2 – Please can we remind all residents not to smoke out of their windows. Cigarette butts are visible on the working scaffold. Some flats have a large number of cigarette butts directly below their window areas. The scaffolding boards are made of wood and if a cigarette is not fully distinguished this may result in a hazard. Also, it is a working scaffold and is not a pleasant environment for our operatives to work in and is not their responsibility to continually have to clear up residents discarded rubbish. Your help with the proper disposal of cigarette paraphernalia would be appreciated. Cladding back-round and partial cladding system install is in progress throughout Phase 2 and balcony waterproofing is also ongoing during this week and making good progress throughout the phase.
Phase 3 – Scaffold is now mostly complete in the Courtyard with the remaining areas being completed during over the coming days. Stripping of the existing cladding and insulation is now underway on most areas and several balconies. Please not enter the Courtyard unless absolutely necessary.
